Aqiqah for Sister Kanza

Dad and mom are expected to do a baby ritual called Aqiqah for my sister Kanza Nabila by slaughtering a goat as advised by the Prophet Muhammad.

It's still not clear when precisely the ritual will be held. Certainly, it's within this week, says dad.

Well, it reminded me of happening when dad and mom did aqiqah to me in my 38 days of age in which many young orphan boys recite shalawat, cut a piece of my hair in the mosque led by uncle Ali. That moment was unforgettable.

I miss that one.

This time around, the ritual will be held in the female mosque (musholla).

I am Walking!

Dad and mom are so excited today to see me walking several steps than usual.

Yeah, I am walking. I am surprised myself to me able to stand on my own two feet without holding dad or mom's hand.

Wow, that's one of the happiest day in my life.

That's said I need to practice a lot more to be able to catch up with Mas Bessam and Mas Daud (Mas Auk). They walk very fast. They can even run.

I promise to try and work hard to be able to firmly walk and enjoy it.

Kanza Nabila Syuhud

My sweety little sister was just born a few days back. Her name Kanza Nabila Syuhud. She's born on 20 March 2010. That's four days ago. I plan to write this eversince but always forget. Sorry sis.

People say she's just like me.

I don't know if I should be happy with her birth or not.

I am just too little a baby to understand happiness and sadness.

The facts are many people come to visit my mother and congratulate her for delivering the baby safely.

Dad says I'm a 'grown-up' baby now.

I coudn't get it what dad meant by "grown-up" baby.

Oh by the way, I am almost 14 months baby today. I may need to remind you all, that I've just celebrated my first birthday on 4 February 2010. That's last month.

Wish my little sister a very good luck and bright future. Amin.

Newborn: - a baby from birth to four weeks

Baby: a very young child (birth to 1 year) who has not yet begun to walk or talk
